About The Runner Bean

The Runner Bean is located at No.4 Nassau Street, Dublin 2 opposite Trinity College. The shop was established in 1982. We are an Independently Irish owned and operated business. We are proud to be independent and feel we offer a more down to earth friendly service,  than the multiples.
Primarily we offer good fresh food -to Go!

Organic Coffee with a free Irish handmade chocolate, wholesome tasty sandwiches, wraps and pannini.  G/F V D/F homemade soup [really homemade] , Hot Noodles, Fresh Salads, Yogurts, fresh Fruit, Drinks, Nuts and some other healthy treats for the busy city folks.
We are passionate about the ethics of food so we try to source our food on a local, Irish and Organic basis. We grow salads and vegetables in season and sell and use them in our food. We do not use any artificial fertilizers or pesticides.
Our Coffee [IMBIBE] has three certifications: Organic, Fair-trade and Rain Forest Alliance. Coffee is typically the third most sprayed crop after Tobacco and Cotton.
We deliver sandwich platters and fruit to offices at great prices.
We welcome any comments, or suggestions you may have and hope you enjoy our little shop. Most likely you’l see me there!

Just wondering how much time is there between when your coffee beans are roasted to when they’re brewed? 🙂

Despite working in town for 10 years and going to TCD for another 4 I never went into the shop. Delighted I did today – 2 lovely and friendly girls working behind the counter and a lovely homely feel to the shop. I’ll be back

Sometimes it’s nice to say thanks than only complain – so thanks
    Andrew

    Hi Mark,
I’m a big fan of your convenient, raw and quality food. I also like the personal touch you bring to your customers and the way the staff follow this lead. I have to thank you for hosting one of our charity boxes over the past while and your donation of your accumulation of 1 and 2 cent coins that amounted to €16.02. Thanks again from http://www.koinsforkids.ie . I’ll see you in the morning for the usual “one of my five a day”.

    Kind Regards

    Liam.
